Sometimes I Get This Funny Feeling That Someone is Watching Me…

Ouch! That looks like it would ruin a whole day for someone…but the guy is spared and walks away. Happens to us all the time in different ways, being rescued or saved by a second or a mere foot.

Maybe not as wild and crazy  as a hungry gator, but pretty close calls that could have turned out much worse then they did! So how did they work out in your favor anyhow? Did mother nature steer the vibes in your direction the last time you were saved from a mess? Did the universe step in for you ? Perhaps the ancient god Thor is the one. I actually believe that God (Jehovah) is responsible for the rescues in my life.

The good news is the we can start appreciating and seeing all of the rescues or times of favor in our lives! It as simple as changing our way of thinking.Wake up each day and vow to name 10 things you are thankful for .Sound hard? It may be at first and then it is very easy, just a little training for the brain and it all falls into place. When we first wake up now, most of us tend to load ourselves up with all the work or things that need to get crammed in, Instead, remind yourself of all the blessings in your life, You may be surprised at how you begin to remember them! For me, it might be my children, my health, memories of my family, friends, and most important to me, the Cross.

There is actually a number you can assign to yourself, like take 13. You say thanks for at least 13 things right off the bat. Maybe you start easy at 6, Whatever you pick as a number, just make sure your positive thoughts or comments outnumber any critical ones by around 10:1.

The idea here is that the habit spreads into other areas of your life, like parenting.and relationships in general, If you learn to think and speak positively in your own life, you can do the same in your interactions with peers, or kids. I have learned that a ratio of 10:1 works well with teenagers for example. In order to get the positive in, you sandwich a negative comment with a positive. For example ” Susan, You look very nice today, but your room is a mess so clean that before we leave. How about 20 minutes Susan, your such a good cleaner I bet you have no problem in that time!

Anyway, the point is that positive encourages positive in relationships and our own state of mind. There is much more to be said on this topic so maybe I will share some other tricks to help make our lives a little easier! For now the challenge for all of us is to take is to try and find 6 things positive to say to the person we talk to, and that’s over the course of a day, not just bombarding them with nice lines…lol

Its a ballpark number and if you are near there you will feel very different and you should notice your family being much more kind or respectful when they speak. So, good luck and until next time! Stay away from the gators

Social Worker - 20+ years. Experienced with mental and behavioral health as well as alternative education, juvenile justice, addictions treatment also. Currently working with agencies and insurers on changing the way all the systems in these work, using my methods and model of treatments for all the above. We have a horrible system in place our success rates in treatment are 20 -35% and we pay doctors to keep us sick. We also have a problem with drug companies paying doctors to write for dangerous meds to even kids, all in the name of $.. I plan on changing that and in the meantime have been aggressively working at using this site as a platform to offer coaching, counseling and many other services in several languages..oh, and services that actually work! There's a new concept.. I use models I have developed and used with success rates more like 75-85%. Only programs I personally put together and ran in my 20 years in field... Please join the incredible group of followers here as very exciting things are happening. We currently have followers in 60 countries. Most of all, I promise to never let you leave my watch still suffering. My goal has always been to educate, dial in the least restrictive, least expensive , most successful and timely treatment possible. I want everyone to know that our country is a pharmaceutical playground and there ARE cures for things like cancer, liver disease, parkinsons and many more..as a matter of fact they are being cured ( not symptoms treated forever) but actually cured of diseases in many countries who don't allow drug companies to dictate laws.. Money is the only reason we are not using the same healthy and safe natural remedies that God put on this planet. Am I saying that our healthcare system is aware of cures but watches millions die slow painful deaths all in the name of money? Well, I will have to think about it - UMM- YES! I am saying that. If you have not read my homepage please do..let me tease you with a tidbit to get you there... Did you know that the USA is one of only 2 countries in entire world that even ALLOWS any drug companies to put an ad for drugs on television? Hmm. Why does the entire world protect their own, and make sure swindlers cant twist their minds an manipulate them into buying snake oil from drug companies..and why do they make legal the natural plants that heal cancer and so much more? I think you get it... Click Follow...
