We all know it happens, many of us know it is very common but few of us do anything about it. We spend more money and time looking for lost FIDO than we do on searching for human victims (children) of a billion dollar industry called human trafficking. More on a dog than on a child being raped and beaten and sold to pedophiles to repeat the cycle each day.

I don’t think you must be a parent to have this hurt your heart, you just need to be human. If you are not involved in this cause already, please contact your local government to see how you can be involved in stopping this heinous crime.

I am a social worker and family coach for 20+ years. I have had around 50 foster kids , worked in every and any type of facility from juvenile centers to clinical treatment centers to schools for expelled youth . I've been successful with starting schools for violent offenders , training hospital staff , entire counties of public school teachers, parents and many more on behavior management and helping families in trouble . I have been honored to speak on many occasions and to teach professionals what is wrong with our systems for kids and adults, and how I was able to have successful outcomes in all the programs that I ran. And yes- I do have all the accolades and awards and pats on the back from high places and degrees but I'm not in this for that recognition. I appreciate the acknowledgement I've received over the years, but I don't even have an " I love me" wall in the I don't even know where those things are anymore ..LOL I have lived a hard life myself and grew up in a very violent and abusive home. My family Is filled with depression , addiction and suicide. I also have had to navigate my way through these areas . I use my own experience to help others. I hope you will join the awesome people who follow me and share their stories. This Is a place to come to keep it real. We all struggle . So on this site we keep it legit. No judgement. What are you waiting for? Follow! tj

  1. It’s about denial and loss. If you search for a missing pet and don’t find them, you get over it, but the loss of a child is too much for the average person to understand. Add to that the thoughts that our children could be taken or what happens to them after they’re taken and wow, too much to handle. So we put up posts and make sympathetic noises. We need to confront the pain and help.

    1. Wow- just wow!
That was by far one of the most thought provoking and brutally honest comments I have seen. So now that we, as humans understand why we avoid it, how do we buck-up and confront it ?

      1. There’s the rub, we, collectively as humans don’t understand and we don’t want to face pain. Distraction is keeping our disconnect alive so we don’t have to face the truth. If I had answers I promise I would have shared them.

      2. I think this is where the push must come in until the distraction becomes more of a reality to us. They say the squeaky wheel gets the oil, this should apply somehow!!
